Do I need to consume Vitamin C in order to absorb the iron efficiently?
Burdock Root, Dandelion Root, and Kalawalla all provide sufficient amounts of Vitamin C. Per 100 g of root you can get anywhere from 3-5% of daily Vitamin C from these plants. This is why it assimilates in the body rather easily with no bloating, constipation, stagnation, etc., compared to over-the-counter iron supplements.
When is the best time to consume this blend?
You can consume the herbs any time of day. Many people consume it first thing in the AM for lasted energy throughout the day; others consume it in the evening to help with sleep. We recommend exploring which time works best for your body. If you're detoxing for health reasons, we recommend drinking AM, the afternoon, and evening.
Can I consume this any other way besides tea?
Absolutely! You can grind down the herbs to a powder and pack it into capsules, add the powder to your smoothies, or add your already-made tea to your smoothies as a water replacement.
